Principal's Message

Hello Langdon families,

At Langdon School, we are proud to be Dragons and adhere to the values of L.A.I.R. -
Leadership, Accountability, Integrity and Respect. We encourage students to support one
another and contribute positively to their school community. Positive Behaviour Intervention and Supports means we teach, re-teach, reinforce, model, and reward positive behavior and choices. Consistency and connection is key.

The staff at Langdon School are committed to providing engaging learning environments to help students achieve success. Their priority is to build positive relationships and foster a lifelong love for learning. We believe it is important for students to have choice in how they learn and how they demonstrate their learning. This may look different depending on their individual abilities. Multi-tiered systems of support mean we meet students where they are. Whether it’s universal support or targeted and specialized support, inclusion means everyone has opportunities to participate in the classroom in an environment that is accepting and accommodating of diversity.

We appreciate our parents/guardians for entrusting us to care and educate their children. We value the community connections that have formed and enhance our students’ educational opportunities. We will continue to foster students’ social-emotional and academic development through effective teaching and collaboration with all our stakeholders.
