Math

In Grade 4, we build on many of the skills from grade 3 and go more in depth. We will be learning numbers up to 10,000, including place value, addition, and subtraction, as well as decimals - up to 2 places (hundredths). We will be learning up to 9x9, and begin double digit multiplication and division. Students are expected to be able to instantly recall up to 7x7 by the end of the year. I strongly encourage them to practice at home as well as the school work - to help develop their fluency.
